Error in Burning AC revelations on a dual layer DVD

August 16th, 2013

I’ve been trying to burn Assassin’s Creed Revelations on a dual layer DVD (8.5G). According to PowerISO the ACR image (iso format, skidrow) contains total of 8293 mb which is, again according to PowerISO, about 97% of a DVD9 disc. But neither Nero11 nor Ashampoo 10 nor PowerISO itself can’t seem to want to burn this thing. They all refused to record the image to the disc citing that there is not enough space. I don’t understand what I’m doing wrong here. Can someone explain this to me please? And provide some solution, if possible?
Thanks.

install free ISO Burner and check the step.

Nero Only provide DVD9 = 8152MB, DVD5 = 4483MB.

Thanks for the suggestion, but free ISO burner keeps getting me error at the last moment of burning process. I’ll keep looking.

Is there a specific reason why you want to burn it to a DVD? What about using Virtual CloneDrive?

Yeah.. well. It’s kinda stupid.. I actually played the game out and enjoyed it thoroughly. The thing is.. I like to keep games that I enjoyed in a sort of.. shall we say.. photo album (that is filled not with photos but with DVDs containing games). Purely sentimental reason. Go ahead, laugh at me. I know I am. But still.. I’d very much like to keep this one.
