DVD Copying – Disc Space

I have a few DVD’s which I want to copy and I am using DVD Shrink and DVD Decrypter and one of the DVD’s (TV Series) says it’s too big and to cut some of the stuff from the disc away but I don’t know how to do it?
So if there is another program to copy DVD’s or you actually know how to cut un-needed stuff off DVD’s, please let me know.
