How or where can I see how many people downloaded my files?
And how can i add a password to my files?

If you are talking about rapidshare account..Every file in your account will have some info like this:
Size: 100000 KB Downloads: 1438 Status: Normal Download Last Download: 14.01.2010 11:29:57
For the password…Winrar > Settings > Advanced > Set Password…Before compressing the file..You can’t add a password if the file is already compressed..

The counters are not accurate. You can not know how many people download your stuff. RS counter never been accurate like it says million downloads for one thing but in reality only get 10 points, so when people reply in their thread ” OHHH 1000 downloads and no thanks” Its all false. No such thing counter is broken. It doesnt really matter either.
You add password with Winrar.
