change the download directry in chrome 7.0.517.41

simple but not so simple.. they have taken it out of the options area.. used to be.. under personal stuff.. but now.. nowhere to be seen.. anyone got a tweak i can use?
As its using a windows 7 type system.. i.e putting everything in to the users account on the root drive.. I actually dont know why MS and Google would think that the average person wants to fill their C:\ drive with anything but main program files.. as personally I always steer clear of it so that if and when it crashes at least I can get the data back of the other partitions.. Maybe they feel that hard drives are safe enough now that they will not crash.. lol..

Tools->Options->Under the Hood
scroll down to see Downloads option. You can change your download directory there.
