I just downloaded the game from frrrosty, and I have no problem playing it. But I cant find out how to make a second profile for offline play, my brother wants to play as well but I dont want the game to save over itself. In COD4 it was easy to make a new profile, but I cant figure it out with World at War. Thanks in advance.

I think, COD5 hasn’t profile mode. It was big problem for me too. Actually I always play with my younger bro on one PC. But COD5 hasn’t (at least i didn’t found) profile mode, So we played by cooperate

Thanks for your answer, but that is extremely weird…Why wouldn’t they put more then one profile? Its not like it takes a lot of work and COD4 had it. I hope they can patch it or something…but don’t they know people have families????

i have a video card with dvi and a computer screen with dvi but when i put a dvi cable between them i dont get anything on my screen.it does work with the other (blue) cable.
how can i make it work?? i am on windows 7 and it did work for windows vista but not for xp

Try another cable. See if you got DVI > VGA adapter and use it on DVI port with VGA cable. If it works you’ll know the cable is a problem or the DVI port of the monitor

see if you can force the card to output DVI
and it did work for windows vista

Does anybody know of some sort of video library/management system that I can install on my VPS, to watch videos that I download?
Basically, I have SickBeard/Sab running on my VPS and at the moment I just copy/paste the link to the TV show/movie I want to watch into VLC – and then watch it from there. But, it would be cool if I could watch it straight from the web. Ideally it would be nice if I could browse through folders (ie my downloads folder) and then choose a video, and then stream it.
I guess what I’m looking for is some sort of HTML5 media management system. Does anybody know of a good one?

Are you looking for an actual web compliant video player to install?
Or will that be done client side? If so, a simple directory listing would let you browse through the folders and choose a video or song.

At the moment I am just using apache to browse through the directories to watch videos (this only works for MP4 files though). So I guess a web compliant player/server is what I am looking for. I am running CentOS if that helps. I’ll keep looking, maybe there is a linux app somewhere out there that will do what I’m looking for.
VLC has a streaming function doesn’t it? But I think with VLC you have to choose a specific file to stream, it’s not really stream on demand
Edit: Apparently you can stream a playlist over VLC and then access the playlist via the web interface. That would be very useful. Maybe there is a plugin that will update the playlist by checking my downloads folder for new files at a time interval that I set?

You should only burn at 2.4x if the disc supports 2.4x.

It really makes no difference what speed you burn at, but for best compatibility burn at 2.4x. If your burner dose not support 2.4x then burn at 4x which will make no difference at all, there is really no reason to buy a new burner just so you can burn at 2.4x

Okay, here’s the deal, I turn on my Xbox 360 as I just got home. Funny thing is, im not signed in on Xbox Live, or my gamertag, weird cause its supposed to be automatic. So, I sign in, funny thing is, which is actually pissing me off, is that it says, “The account you are trying to sign in as is currently not done being recovered, please recover it” (or something like that, i cant remember word for word, but that was the message, my gamertag was in process of recovery…weird). So I went to the link that said “Recover Gamertag”, put all my account details, and now im recovering it…yay. During the process of recovery, god decides to pull one over on me, and I get this message, “Xbox Live sign up is currently unavailable”. So, I keep trying and I get the SAME DAMN MESSAGE, and still nothing, this keeps repeating. I can’t play online, i can’t play halo 3 without it, and i cant go on Live Marketplace. This has been going on for 2 days, I’ve tried google, yahoo answers, NOTHING IS WORKING, WHY CAN’T I SIGN IN AND USE MY FREAKING GAMERTAG!!!?!?!!?!?!??
I AM READY TO KILL SOMEONE, THIS IS SO ANNOYING!

I have iPhone 3GS and a home theater system with iphone/ipod dock.
Simply put, is there a way for me play avchd/bdmv/m2ts files with standards audio codecs (DD+, DTS, trueHD, etc…) from the file through the dock in my home theater system?
(I just want the iphone to act as like a ‘video/audio’ data transfer to the system).
As far as why, there are many reasons and issues that would take a long time for me to type, and s ask the question straight up. Granted this is a long shot, but you never know. Someone might know the right answer/clever solution.
So any suggestions would be helpful here, thanks.

No, iPhone only support .mp4 for video. Even if third party software is developed they r usually unable to use hardware acceleration nd r pretty much useless for HD content (especially on anything less than iPhone 4).

consider buying a WD digital media box? store all your movies avi/mkv/mpg/m2ts etc.. on it and play them in up to 1080p on your tv…something to consider…but like said thats a big no on the hooking to your tv…althought that would be sweet

Hi guys,
I just bought a new motherboard(i know its an old board) and 4GB Elite RAM DDR3 1600Mhz , so the problem is , they said this motherboard need to be clocked to get the frequency to 1333 Mhz but I can’t even overclock it, and whenever i use the 4GB Elite RAM DDR3 1600Mhz that i just bought it won’t turn on at all, when i Press the start button, i can hear the fan spinning , but then it automatically turn off then turn on back about 3 or 4 times.
So is it a problem caused of my Motherboard? or the ram? I already google about my board being able to handle a 1600Mhz ram or not , and most people said it can handle it only that the speed will lower to the motherboard speed, but the problem is it won’t run at all.
Please help me.

Yes , I know about that , I only use DDR3 RAM . When I take out the DDR3 and use my old ram DDR2 1GB 800Mhz , I can turn on my computer as usual only that I can’t overclock it past 3.15 ghz, It’s really frustrating since on the box itself wrote that I need to overclock the board to get to 1333Mhz(FSB) , and I can’t even overclock it, Any ideas? Is my board defective or my ram? Is this board can’t be overclock?

check on the bios set up.. when using the 4GB DDR3 1600Mhz
try to downclock the ram to 1333 where the procie and ram will be compatible
or you can auto the settings where your mobo will automatically downclock the ram to 1333

Your motherboard supports up to DDR3 1066 and your RAM should run at that speed
automatically without any modifications on your part. 1333 is only supported by OC (which you don’t have to do btw) and yeah it’s probably a bad stick, But I suggest you try resetting the BIOS before replacing it just to make sure.

Hey , Roberto, about the ram stick , yeah , you were right , the ram is not supported by my motherboard. I already changed it to 4GB DDR3 1333Mhz , and it works.. Thanks for your help, all that left is the problem where my motherboard won’t overclock past 3.1Ghz from 3.0Ghz.. Hmm.. is G41M-Combo a bad motherboard? thanks alot Roberto
