Everything seems fine all but the PSU. I’d recommend switching to a more well known PSU manufacturers such as Antec, PC Power, Seasonic, Corsair…
I would get a weaker processor and an HDD instead of an SSD to save money. Idk if it interests you.

– You could get away with a cheaper CPU based on the requirements you mentioned.
– You could further reduce your expenditure by getting a 120GB SSD and making it your boot disc along with a cheaper HDD for your storage needs. – Additionally, 8GB of RAM is a bit much for the what you’ll be using it for.
Of course, if cost isn’t a factor then ignore my above suggestions!
The PSU has to go and change the ram to 1600 and your new haswell will love you. The G.Skill 2x4gb 1600 is cheaper and the Corsair CX430 PSU has a great rebate. On the EGG of course.

I traded 2 of my RS Account i.e – 1 Month x 2 = 1 VCC, he the seller was seeling these on some hacking site! but the VCC worked just fine.

You really have no idea what you are talking about do you? They are heavily regulated even in INDIA, In fact the restrictions were tightened even more earlier this year by the Reserve Bank of India. Those restrictions outwiegh the ones adhered to by most normal indian banks.

Don’t need to buy Windows, don’t need extra fans or coolers.
Concentrate on a good video card, avoid WD greenpower like a plague.

You dont need any aftermarket cooling. What come with it is good enough unless your going to overclock or putting your pc to the max. Which then will generate a lots of heat therefore getting better cooling is the way to go.
Like Sword said. Concentrate on your graphic card. Thats what game use the most. if you have a bit of extra money try investing in a SSD…. and regular hard drive is for storage

Do you really need a wireless keyboard/mouse? Unless you’ll be sitting a large distance away from it ,This would be a waste of money.

I agree with the quieter and better cooling but the OP ask if its necessary. Its better if he get then but it wont get overheat if he dont. Dont get me wrong. I am always up to aftermarket cooler and watercooling since it provide the better/best cooling. But its not needed unless hes going to overclock… adding voltages and things like that.

If your going air cool.
Get the NH-D14. Im not sure if it will fit your case or not. It fit fine with mine with a few mm to spare. Extremely good air cooling. But your ram need to be low profile.

[SOLVED] Photoshop licence agreement keeps popi’n up

I don’t know how or why but the licence agreement keeps popin up everytime i start photoshop. After i choose Accept/Decline/Cance it starts. Nomather what i choose; (only decline seems to strugle now)
Anyone experienced this and know a solution. What pops up is in the screenshot below. Not a big problem but just very annoying.

Decoding TV… Is it possible?

Hey guys,
I have standard, normal free TV that I pick up with an analog areal on the top of my roof using UHF/VHF.
Although, my TV can pick up sound from the Sky Movies channel, although the picture is all distorted/fuzzy and you can’t see anything.
I was wondering if I were to buy a video-in card for my PC, would I be able to download a program to decode the TV so it is watchable? Or would I be able to buy a decoder and watch the TV that way without paying for it per say?
Any help is appreciated

Hey guys, got some issues here. I love ConvertXtoDVD, use it religiously. Anyway lately a lot of my movies are coming out messed up. Let’s say its a regular movie and I choose either Medium Quality or High, both end up like this. When I am watching the movie it will become pix elated for a second or two then go back to being fine. It happens every so often. I have burned multiple movies and it does it on all of them. I have also re watched them on the computer and they are fine and are not blotchy at times. Also on occasion after it becomes pix elated I can notice the audio will go out of sync by a second or two. I have burned movies on different quality settings, no good. I have also burnt at slower speeds with no fix. I have tried it on my laptop and desktop and get the same results. Is it a problem with my ConvertX? If so is there another program out there that is like ConvertX I can use? I want something that have the options like ConvertX does in the sense of quality and ease of use. I also want something that can put it 1:1 ratio. I am willing to troubleshoot too but have honestly ran out of ideas to try to fix this? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

So that won’t help Does the problem appear with every movie that you convert? (x264 is not supported by convertxtodvd)
You could also try to reinstall all your videocodecs and reinstall convertxtodvd

I tried that I figured it might be something like that. So I ran it on my laptop with only the burning program running. Still came out like so. I don’t know. I mean it doesn’t make the movies unwatchable. I am just a stickler and hate it with that happens or the audio goes out of sync.

i have had my account created long ago
and the last i’ve renewed was for 3months, leaving something like
You are going to continue to be credited with 10 GB download traffic per day, until 30.12.2008. It is 39 days remaining.
But i still get only 2.66 daily
Should I get the usual 10gb daily until it expires or did everyone change to the new rules irrespectively of their remaining days?
I tried asking their customer care but apart from taking a week to reply, they stated about their new policy

under the new policy it will go to 8.66 tomorrow. if you don’t download anything tomorrow, then the next day it will be 10.
but you said your account says you have 39 days of the old policy left, which means it should reset to 10 every day.
