Probably the Sennheiser HD201 or HD202 pairs. But $25 isn’t much…
I can understand the $25 budget. My cousin’s son goes through a couple of sets a month between losing them or trashing the cord or however else a 16 y/o can trash them

I was thinking of buying those but they don’t ship to my country. What do you think about JVC HARX500 are they any good?
The JVCs have some reasonable reviews…Here’s a topic about them on Head-Fi..

AKG…or Senns…don’t waste ur money on other cheap crap…spend a few bucks more
I bought Sennheiser HD 201 and returned them immediately. They are terrible. They are too quiet and have very little bass.
There’s a surprise entry from a chinese company, I keep hearing good things about them, haven’t tested myself:

Edit: Oops, sorry didn’t read carefully, missed “over-ear” , ignore this.
Garage sales are a good place to look if you want a decent pair. Often the lady of the house doesn’t know what they’re worth and you can get really good ones for a few dollars. So go with the cheap ones now and look around later for a deal.
What about Philips SHP2600. Are they any good?
