Aydrian’s NOX Portable

Hi,
I’ve downloaded Aydrian’s NOX portable and I can’t get it to work. The topic is locked (while he fixes a Vista problem) so I can’t post there.
I changed compatibility to Win 98/ME like the post says to. But it doesn’t run at all. When I choose no compatability it loads up but the gfx are messed up (like when you select a resolution too high for your monitor) and it asks for game cd.
It’s weird because I know Aydrian will have tested it and he says it has the latest NO-CD in it.
So I need to know if anyone has got it working and/or can point out any reason why it wont work for me.
My system:
Win XP SP3
Intel e6750
GeForce 8800 GTS
2GB Ram

yep.. it doesnt for me either..
my system
win xp sp3
just an ordinary asus motherboard
gefroce 8600
4gb ram
