Not sure exactly.

Make sure your objects are set to By Layer and not By Block for color and lint type. Use your layer manager to set the layer properties. ie. line weight, Color, Type. when you move them to that layer they will automatically change to the layer type. you could also use match properties.
Answer #2
one more thing ,i want to change the spacing between the dots in the center line ,and make it smaller cuz i am using limit and its too large that it only seems like just 1 yellow line ,how can i change that from layer manager ?
Answer #3
you can’t change that in the layer manager that is a global setting to that drawing or template, you can use the linetype command and set the scale factor, by default it should be 1 unless you’re in a preconfigured template, in 2k9 you can set the global scale or a selected objects scale.

Can you give a picture of what you do have?

Spot on, and to change the spacing of the dots, your going to need to either change line type or adjust the line type scale, but as stated, this is global.
It’s good practice to keep line type global anyway, can help when it comes to plotting…

here is what i am trying to do ,its first year in college and they r giving us some stuff to draw ,here it is anyway Image
Answer #6
Drawing the 2P circle
Image
It only needs the two endpoints of a diameter of the circle. So when you draw a circle using 2P, the two points are always an imaginary diameter even though you cant see a line. There are two ways to draw it, by selecting the menu or typing it in the command prompt. You can also type the C or Circle command in the command prompt on the 3P or TTR. Again go to the menu Draw>Circle>2 Points then Autocad will prompt: Specify first end point of circles diameter: pick a point on the screen then it will prompt you again: Specify second end point of circles diameter: pick another point to create the circle.
Does this help

Answer #8
Ok got it..
Is this what you have to do.. or what you have already done?
Image
this is how to get the dotted lines, reload the line type with an object scale of 0.1. I think this is because you are using such small units (IE 1)
Image
this is the centre for that arch, is this what you needed?
Answer #9
ya the center of the arc ,and the layer manager looks like this at mine btw thats what i have currently

Answer #10
Well you layers seem fine, its just the line type scale.
If you draw a line in Center2 layer 30 or longer you will see the dashes. but to fix this on your .dwg just type “linetype” then hit the “show details” box. then adjust your “global Scale factor” to 0.1 like my first pic but global not object. Reload ther center2 line type. that should give you the dashes at a smaller scale like my second pic.
As for the center of the arch, go to draw a line and hover on the arch, this should bring up the center pip (like shown) then snap to that center and draw a line to the arch. (which you can then measure or what ever, I get 11.1519)

hope this helps
Answer #11
helped !! thanks ,but still one more thing now i redid it and did dimenstions again and i put them in the dim layer but they only turned pink ,the text didn’t get bigger and stuff ,how do i edit that ?
Answer #12
You need to edit the dimension style by the sounds of it…
Type “dimstyle” and see this box…
Image
click modify then and adjust it to suit what you what to be.
when you next place your dim. just pick the style you made.
as you can see I have 3 dim styles on the left, you can create as many as you wish.
=)
