Adding cover art to video files

August 29th, 2016

I downloaded two video files that had the movie poster art intregrated into them. The file(s) then looks very similar to has they do on Netflix. I have since figured out how to do it with MP4 files.
I would like to know if someone can help me do it for MKV and AVI and other files as well. Thanks

Pretty sure those are just tags, so any editor would work.

Correct, it’s a tag editor. But unlike those for mp3 ect, they don’t work for all video files. At least not any that I know of. If you know of one that works with MKV videos files, please let me know
Answer #3
Just convert the MKV to movie/flash/swf/mp4

Just convert the MKV to movie/flash/swf.
Im not sure how that would help – please explain. Also, wouldn’t that be extremely time consuming if there are a lot of files.

If you like those full media center type players then Jriver Media Center can organize all your movies and stuff.
If not already there, it will download all the artwork etc from the net and store it in a couple of files along with the movie file you already have.
Thought I would mention it, in case you like that sort of thing!
