A question about how PC DIMM3 Mmemory cards…

Is there any evidence that a computer would utilize the RAM cards more effectively if say, for example:
32GB of RAM in dual channel with two 16GB cards in the MB
Or would this:
32GB of RAM in dual channel with FOUR 8GB cards in the MB
…be better in some way? Performance-wise, i mean.

It doesn’t make any difference, Also 32GB for a client is overkill you’d be fine with 12 or 16GB as long as you are not running virtual machines.
