I cannot understand whats wrong with my pc

I totaly cant understand whats happening with my pc.Some games plays some games not plays.It restarts only like that,i cant understand that.I play perfectly stalker clear sky,Pro 2009,witcher,call of duty 4,crysis,BUT when i go play Beijing 2008,Sas secure tommorow,Cabelas 2009,Code of honor 2 it loads the map and some sec then puffff…..restarts the pc .I cant even play far cry 2 now .Plz can someone help a little? My pc: amd athlon 3,2/2gbram/ati radeon x1950 pro 512/Motherboard:Leadtek,windows xp pro sp3 Curently playing most:Dekaron,pro 2009,nba 2k9

For how long have you had the same OS installed on the HD ?
Is the graphics card dusty or the other cards /mainboard ?

yes, i was having same problem too, and always end with re-format my computer

you try upgrading the video card drivers
and yes check the temps
and do this to see the error
How to turn off Automatically Restart
* Click Start then right click My Computer choose Properties
* Then Advanced tab
* Under Startup & Recovery click Settings
* Under System failure uncheck Automatically Restart
* Click OK.
Now the Error message should stay up so you can read it.
see if there’s a file name under the stop code

The way to solution on any problem is starting from least costly to the highest cost fixes.
These are in order from least costly:
1) Update all of your drivers: display, sound, chipset
2) Check CPU temp, Graphics Card temp, etc
3) Do a memory test using memtest
Also, do what suggested.

Thx guys for your advises.I have check all the things you post the temprature is fine from my graphics card my cpu is good also ram is fine .I guess iam unlucky.Anyway thx very much for your advises guys
