[SOLVED]Quick Computer Question

So if I am reformating and i copy all my program files to a harddrive and then copy them back after does this mean I will not have to reinstall all of the programs I had?

No, you have to install the programs again, because the registry is erased. Well if it’s a portable program then it’s Ok

no forget about back upping the program files because if you did what you have in mind a lot of programs will not work because they are not registered properly on the windows system registry bottom line you have to reinstall them again
