Calender program for windows 7?

ok well im basically looking for a program
where i can save notes for specific dates and stuff
and on that day theres is like a pop up or a message or something (something like every day there is a popup saying notes for today)
telling me bout it
in simple words a program like a calender i guess
i need one that is simple to use
any ideas?
